frischer wind was founded in 2000 as the consulting company frischer wind, AG für Organisationsentwicklungen. The company has offices in Basel, Zurich, Winterthur and St. Gallen and is managed by five partners.

Challenged by the diverse tasks we have modified, recombined and partly reinvented our knowledge and our experience with large group work within the framework of participatory processes. After nearly 20 years, we have made hundreds of large group interventions – and have become a little wiser.

In fact, in every organisation a lot of experience and a lot of knowledge point to a successful future. Sometimes it is a challenge to visualise and harness these resources. That is where frischer wind comes in.

Philosophy

In our projects we join forces with our customers to find the optimal path, that is to say, always in a pragmatic and professional manner, in optimal customised fashion. Our goal is to keep the future in mind even at the outset of a process in order to achieve viable solutions together. It is important from the outset to actively include those people that should have an input:

“Identification thanks to participation”.

frischer wind works in a process-oriented manner: Large group conferences only have an effect if they are embedded in an overall process – and if this remains flexible. The process design is thus regularly reviewed and adapted.

frischer wind works based on participative criteria: Participation means that a clear distinction is made between decision preparation and decision-making.
