The "Nasza Księgarnia" publishing house is a unique publishing house that combines tradition and modernity. Since 1921, we accompany the next generations of readers to whom we provide beautiful and valuable books.

We have the exclusive right to publish such classic, timeless books as books by AA Milne ( Winnie the Pooh , Chatka Puchatka ) or the nine-volume series about Moomins. We are also the publisher of the series about Mikołaj, the excellent author-illustrator Sempé-Goscinny duo and books by Astrid Lindgren (including Children from Bullerby , Ronja, the robber's daughter , Brothers Lionheart ).

We closely follow foreign news, trying to introduce Polish readers to the most interesting literary works in the world. We publish popular hits, such as Jeff Kinney's Diary of a Wimpy Kid or Stay, If You Love Gayle Forman, but also award-winning literary pearls, such as Markus Zusak's Book Thief . The publisher's offer also includes Charles M. Schulz's collected Peanuts , presenting one of the most famous press comics.

We still release Polish hits from years ago, such as Adventures of the cat Filemon Sławomir Grabowski and Marek Nejman with illustrations by Julitta Karwowska-Wnuczak, Misia Uszatek by Czesław Janczarski with illustrations by Zbigniew Rychlicki and unforgettable stories from the series Read to me, mom , thanks to which we recall the achievements of the best Polish authors and illustrators.

Our offer also includes contemporary proposals for children and teenagers. The readers' sympathy was won by such series as Hej, Jędrek! Rafał Skarżycki and Tomasz Lew Leśniak and Zosia from Kocia Street, Agnieszka Tyszki and Detektywi from 5 Tajemnicza Guzowska, both illustrated by Agata Raczyńska and successfully combining text with graphics.

We publish works by the most widely read Polish authors: Barbara Kosmowska, Justyna Bednarek, Małgorzata Strękowska-Zaremba, Dorota Suwalska, Katarzyna Ryrych and Wojciech Widłak. Among the titles that enjoy unflagging interest are also the series of books by Grzegorz Kasdepke: Detective Music Box and the series about feelings collected in the volume Wielka Księga feelings (The Great Book of Feelings).

We make sure that the books we hand over to the youngest readers are as good as possible, that the text is valuable, and the illustrations shape the sense of aesthetics. We specialize in graphically sophisticated books for children, such as those from the series I'll tell you, mom and Rok w ... , in which you can admire, among others, illustrations by Katarzyna Bajerowicz, Nikola Kucharska, Artur Nowicki, Daniel de Latour, Emilia Dziubak, Magdalena Kozieł-Nowak and Katarzyna Bogucka. The books by Asia Gwis, Ewa Kozyra-Pawlak and Paweł Pawlak were also recognized.

In 2016, we decided to start publishing board games and created a team of the best specialists with many years of experience. Today, our offer includes several dozen children's and family board games as well as those intended for teenagers and adult players. What distinguishes them? We are the only company in Poland to change the graphic design of almost every foreign game we publish. Great Polish illustrators (Maciej Szymanowicz, Nikola Kucharska, Katarzyna Bajerowicz, Marcin Minor, Tomasz Larek, Roman Kucharski) dress games in new, attractive clothes. We are proud that in a short time many of our board games gained great popularity and won the hearts of not only players, but also teachers and educators who use them during classes with children and teenagers.
