HP
HP – Laptops, printers & consumables
American technology company since 1939
HP covers two large worlds: computers — ProBook and EliteBook laptops for business, Pavilion and everyday ranges — and printing, where it is among the world's largest manufacturers.
In printers the range runs from DeskJet for the home to LaserJet Pro for the office and portable OfficeJet models. It also produces genuine ink and toner, peripherals and laminating equipment.

Frequently asked questions about HP
- ProBook or Pavilion?
- ProBook is the business line: sturdier chassis, better support and security features. Pavilion covers everyday home use.
- Laser or inkjet printer?
- Laser pays off for volume black-and-white printing and does not dry out if left unused. Inkjet costs less to buy and prints photos better.
- Which ink do I need?
- Consumables are printer-model specific. The code is printed on the old cartridge — 26A or 655, for example.
- Genuine or compatible?
- Genuine guarantees consistency and avoids complications. Compatibles cost significantly less per page and do not void the printer's warranty.
