Smeg
Smeg – 50's Style small appliances
Italian company since 1948
Smeg became known for the 50's Style range: toasters, kettles, coffee makers and mixers with retro curved lines and pastel colours, inspired by 1950s design.
It is the brand that made the small appliance a decorative object: instead of hiding in a cupboard, it stays on the worktop because it looks good.

Frequently asked questions about Smeg
- What is the 50's Style range?
- Smeg's signature line with curved forms and pastel colours, inspired by 1950s design.
- Is the price difference worth it?
- You are paying for the design too. If the appliance lives permanently on the worktop and you see it daily, many consider it justified.
- Are all colours available for every appliance?
- Not always. Each product comes in specific shades — check availability if you want to match a set.
- Is it only about design?
- No. The appliances have proper specifications — the design is the addition, not the whole point.
